This is the privacy notice for angela-jackson.com, the website of Angela Jackson, an Edinburgh-based writer and performer.

When you get in touch

If you use the contact form, you provide your name, email address and message. I use these details to read and respond to your enquiry, and to deal with any correspondence that follows. I do not use contact-form enquiries to sign you up to a mailing list.

Who handles your message

The contact form is processed by Formspree, a third-party form service. Your submission is sent through Formspree and delivered to my email inbox. Formspree may process and store submission data as described in its own privacy policy. My website is hosted through Cloudflare, which also processes technical information needed to deliver and secure the site. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

How long information is kept

I keep correspondence only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the enquiry, any resulting work, or applicable legal obligations. Copies may also be held by the email and form services used to handle messages, subject to their own retention arrangements.

Your choices

You can ask what personal information I hold about you, request a correction or deletion where applicable, or raise a concern about how it is used. You can contact me using the contact page. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
